Designing the Application

WebClient takes the standard Progress 4GL client and extends it to the World Wide Web and beyond, letting you deploy applications on the Internet, on an intranet, or on an extranet. Yet, despite the increased flexibility, designing (or redesigning) an application for WebClient is not complicated. You need only follow a few guidelines, which are outlined in the following sections.
